With increasing growth in this sector, there is a crying need for professionals to bring management skills for efficient administration of hospitals and healthcare facilities. Hospital/Healthcare Management is taught in a two-year, postgraduate diploma programme.

Graduates from any discipline, as well as doctors, nurses and paramedics can apply for admission. A Master’s programme in Hospital Management is designed to train students to become managers who can efficiently run hospitals.

This course is offered at institutions such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; Apollo Hospitals in Hyderabad and Chennai, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai; Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University, and Indian Institute of Health Management, Jaipur, to name the prominent ones.
