A Public Interest Litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking arrest of the controversial Uttar Pradesh Haj Minister Haji Mohammed Yaqoob.
The minister had announced a reward of Rs 51 crore for the head of the Danish cartoonist for making Prophet Mohammad's caricature.
The petition moved by Vijay Kumar Tiwary was mentioned before a Bench headed by Justice BN Agarwal, which refused to give urgent hearing on the issue and said that the matter will be heard on March 20 as fixed by the Registry.
