The police was forced to register case against three moneylenders, including the son of a police inspector on Saturday evening. The swift action followed as one Suraj, a resident of Ballabgarh in district Faridabad, approached deputy commissioner (DC) Praveen Kumar with his complaint that he had borrowed money from three persons, who were charging exorbitant interest rate.

"The complainant came to me and narrated his tale of woes. The three moneylenders were torturing him to the extent that he wanted to end his life," deputy commissioner Praveen Kumar disclosed during the press conference on Saturday afternoon.

"I ordered ACP Ballabgarh Badan Singh Rana to get a case registered against the trio," Kumar said.
