The event started with a breast cancer patient — an employee at the designers’ factory — sharing with guests her heart-wrenching story of early detection,
timely treatment and eventual triumph. Among those who attended the event included designers Ritu Kumar, Rina Dhaka, and Deepica Mehta, socialites Ammu Saidi, Uma Braspati, Naina Balsavar, Neena Verma, Parul Puri, Sonu Wassan and Rhea Singh, art curator Alka Raghuvanshi, artist Nupur Kundu, author Kusum Sawhney, choreographer Rashmi Virmani, emcee Shefali Talwar and model Ashitta Maubdgill.
