CBI court extends Monica Bedi's JC till January 12

The judicial remand of Monica Bedi, girl friend of extradited underworld don Abu Salem, was extended to January 12 by a designated CBI court in Hyderabad on Monday.

Bedi was produced before special CBI judge CV Subramanyam who extended here remand till January 12.

Bedi, who was extradited along with Salem from Portugal, was brought to Hyderabad from Mumbai on November 11.

She is facing charges of securing a passport under a fictitious name -- Sana Malik -- from Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
