A designated CBI court in Hyderabad on Wednesday extended the judicial remand of Monica Bedi, companion of extradited gangster Abu Salem, to January 30.
Special Judge CV Subramanyam extended the judicial remand while allowing for the split petition of the CBI, which would expedite legal proceedings against Bedi.
The second bail petition of Bedi filed by her Delhi-based lawyer Suchir Batra along with local advocate Pradeep Kumar was rejected on Monday.
