CBI on Friday opposed film actor Sanjay Dutt's plea to allow him to go to Pune on September 16 and 17 to offer prayers at temples there, saying that the accused in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case should not be allowed at this juncture as the TADA court has already started delivering the judgement.

Dutt was arrested in connection with the 1993 serial explosions case for possession of AK-47 rifle that had come in the consignment meant for the bomb blasts.

The verdict on Dutt, who is accused number 117, is likely to take time.
