CBI seeks details of luxury cars

The CBI has approached the Regional Transport Offices in Tamil Nadu to seek details of vehicles that were allegedly imported by alleged smuggler Alex C Joseph in violation of norms.

The CBI has approached the Regional Transport Offices in Tamil Nadu to seek details of vehicles that were allegedly imported by alleged smuggler Alex C Joseph in violation of norms.

The vehicles include those allegedly in possession of DMK leader MK Alagiri and his nephew Udayanidhi Stalin.

According to CBI, they have zeroed in on 33 imported vehicles and handed it over to their owners with a condition that these vehicles would be produced before the court as and when required.

The CBI has registered a case against Joseph directorate of revenue intelligence official Muruganandan.
