CBI seeks early hearing in Mattoo case

CBI on Friday moved the Delhi High Court seeking an early hearing of the appeal in the sensational Priyadarshini Mattoo murder case.
A division bench of Justice RS Sodhi and Justice PK Bhasin posted the matter for further hearing to August 31, 2006.
Appearing for the CBI, additional Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam told the court that the agency had completed the translation of the trail court proceedings and was willing to proceed with the appeal hearing.
