Central Bank?s new ED takes charge

K SUBBARAMAN has taken charge as Central Bank of India Executive Director on February 2, 2006. His appointment was made in terms of notification issued by Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

K SUBBARAMAN has taken charge as Central Bank of India Executive Director on February 2, 2006. His appointment was made in terms of notification issued by Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Prior to the present appointment, he had an illustrious career with Bank of India. Subbaraman joined Bank of India after graduating in engineering and acquiring post-graduate diploma in Industrial Management. Whilst in the Bank, he became a Certified Associate of Institute of Banking & Finance (Mumbai) and also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.

During his long tenure, he has held various assignments in the Bank, in India and abroad, including Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Treasury Management etc. and as Zonal Manager, New Delhi Zone. Prior to the present assignment, he was holding charge of Corporate Plan and Strategy in his capacity as General Manager in Bank of India at Corporate office, Mumbai.
