Chautala undergoes heart surgery, shifted to ICU

The INLD chief and former chief minister of Haryana Om Prakash Chautala underwent a pacemaker implant surgery at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon, on Monday morning. Chautala was operated by Dr Balbir Singh under the supervision of Dr& Naresh Trehan’s team. He was later shifted to intensive care unit (ICU).

Chautala was operated by Dr Balbir Singh under the supervision of Dr Naresh Trehan’s team. He was later shifted to intensive care unit (ICU).

An INLD release said that after the surgery he was visited by his younger son and MLA from Ellenabad Abhey Chautala, grandsons Dushyant and Digvijay and he told them that the operation was completely successful and he was now feeling well.

Earlier on Sunday, former Union minister Menaka Gandhi, and several other leaders also visited him, the release said.
