China shows up, finally
The suspense over China's participation in Aero-India-2011 ended on Wednesday with Chinese ambassador Zhang Yan coming to India's biggest ever airshow.

The suspense over China's participation in Aero-India-2011 ended on Wednesday with Chinese ambassador Zhang Yan coming to India's biggest ever airshow.
This is the first time that China has been represented at the airshow. China was initially not invited to attend the airshow, but India later changed its decision. Asked what prompted the change in stance, defence minister AK Antony said, "These matters are handled by the ministry of external affairs. We had invited China in 2009 but they never came..."
