“The Bharatiya Janata Party will face a similar defeat in the bypolls to the Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency and Malehra assembly constituency,” Narayansamy, who is here to drum up support for the Congress candidate to the prestigious Vidisha Lok Sabha seat, told mediapersons.

He alleged that Vidisha was not developed despite Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan having represented it five times in Parliament. Union ministers Kamal Nath, Suresh Pachouri, Kantilal Bhuria, former chief minister Digvijay Singh and a few film stars would also join the campaign trail, he said.

Narayansamy expressed apprehension that the administrative machinery could be misused during the election and asked party workers and leaders to keep a close watch.
