The Bharatiya Janata Party leaders burnt the effigy of GA Mir, former minister and a senior Congress leader who was arrested by the CBI in connection with his alleged involvement in the sex scandal in Kashmir.

Led by KK Mishra and Ashok Pandey, the Bharatiya Janata Party activists assembled at Assi area in the morning and protested against the leader’s role in the scam.
