“January to August period is anyways considered off-season”, a spokesman from Gurgaon told HT Lucknow Live.
Responding to a query on possible health hazard, he said no retail outlet kept an inventory of soft drink bottles beyond three days in any city. “A standard rule for all retailers is that they must keep the bottles covered in their outlets,” he said.
“We had already told our dealers that they should keep the brand at 4 degrees Celsius in the refrigerators. However, the power situation in Uttar Pradesh could not make refrigerators maintain cooling parameters set by the company in the retail outlets”, he added.
