Counting of votes to Chapra LS constituency on Wednesday

Counting of votes in Bihar's Chapra Lok Sabha constituency, where RJD supremo Laloo Prasad Yadav is pitted against former Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, will begin on Wednesday and results are likely by evening.
The counting will start at 2 pm, an Election Commission spokesman said on Tuesday, adding results are likely to be available by 8 pm.
The spokesman said the EC has ordered repoll in three polling stations in Tariya (two) and Parsa (one) Assembly segments of the Lok Sabha constituency.
Repoll will be held tomorrow from 7 am till 5 pm, he said.
Polling in the Lok Sabha seat was held on Monday after balloting held in the constituency on April 26 was countermanded by EC following large-scale violence, booth capturing and other electoral malpractices.
The spokesman said Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) of the three polling booths would be available at counting centres shortly after 5 pm and the outcome included in final tally.
