Court approves Reliance Energy merger plan

Mumbai High Court has approved the scheme of amalgamation of Reliance Energy Ventures Ltd with the company.

Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group entity Reliance Energy on Sunday said the Mumbai High Court has approved the scheme of amalgamation of Reliance Energy Ventures Ltd with the company.

The court passed an order on June 23 sanctioning the scheme of amalgamation, REL and REVL informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Reliance Capital Ventures Ltd informed the BSE separately on Sunday that the Mumbai High Court of Judicature at Bombay passed an order on June 23 sanctioning the scheme of amalgamation of the company with Reliance Capital, another ADAG group company,

REL was trading 0.64 per cent down at Rs 466.10 in a special trading session on the BSE on Sunday, while Reliance Capital rose 1.66 per cent to Rs 524.65 in early morning trade.
