The recent explosion of crude bombs in Korukkumedu near Puducherry resulting in the death of two children was a proof of deteriorating law and order situation in Puducherry, CPI(M) secretary V Perumal said in a release here.

He asked the government to pay solatium to families of the children killed in the blast.
