Creation of painting is a sadhana and visualisation of feelings
"Creation of painting is a 'sadhana'. When an artist starts painting, he loses himself to the art and the result visible on the canvas is actually the visualisation of his inner feelings," said eminent artist Abhinav Gupt.

Gupt made these remarks during an interaction with the budding painters of the city on Tuesday at the painting workshop being held at Prayag Sangeet Samiti, South Malaka.
He also created a landscape in acrylic colours which was appreciated by the children.
He presented the painting to his guru Dr Shyam Bihari Agrawal, HoD Visual Arts Faculty of Prayag Sangeet Samiti.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Agrawal said, good thoughts result in beautiful paintings and the ones made with maligned thoughts could hardly be discerned by the viewers.
The workshop will continue till June 14.
The paintings made during the workshop will be displayed in an exhibition which will be organised in the second week of July. All the participants will be awarded with certificates.
Likewise, the city children are enhancing their overall talent and developing skills through various workshops being held in the city.
Recently, a theatre workshop conducted by Samanantar concluded at Students Union Hall, Allahabad University. This workshop was conducted by theatre artiste Anil Ranjan Bhowmick which was attended by 30 people. Improvisation techniques were taught to the participants.
Likewise, another workshop will be held in the second week of June. "Afterwards, we will select the artistes to perfrom in a play," said Bhowmick.
Children residing in slums are also getting an opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities in the theatre workshop being organised by Adharshila organisation in Shriram Montessori Shishu Vidyalay.
North Central Zone Culture Centre has become the hub of activities at the moment. Right from the traditional and folk singing and dancing and instrumentals, children are also learning the nuances of nautanki, the dying art.
This is developing the patrons of the art which is slowly becoming extinct.
