The Mission Impossible star, who once blasted the drug addicts in TV interviews in May 2005, on behalf of his Scientology beliefs, has launched a fresh attack on psychiatry. The actor calls for prescription pill poppers to think twice about the physical impact of addiction.

"I've always found the 'if it makes me feel better, it's OK' rationale a little suspect. I think it's appalling that people have to live a life of drug addiction when I have personally helped people get off drugs," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

In the explosive interview, the actor also claims that he can get someone off heroin in just three days through Scientology's detox programmes.
