Using a fun element, the site, www.playforcry.org, tackles the serious and urgent issue of violation of child rights through a series of three extremely popular games -- Crossword, Sudoku and Hangman, a CRY spokesperson said.

At various points in the game, different messages about child rights and a variety of children issues will be featured, she said.

These messages involve the audience and induce them to forward it to friends, she added.

Each game will run for two weeks, making it a total of six weeks. The main page will have three geographical options to choose from -- the US, UK and India/ Rest of the World, she said.

The website offers an opportunity to do something for a better today and tomorrow for our children, she said.

“The denial of rights to marginalised children is appalling and CRY believes that every member of our society should take responsibility to change their lives. This serious issue must be demystified,” she said.
