The case mentions the "baseless charges" were leveled with an intention of tarnishing image of Dushyant and his family. The court has fixed August 5 for hearing the case.

Ramesh had alleged the palace belonged to the government and Dushyant illegally developed a luxury hotel in it.

The case also names a leading English news channel for running news related to the matter.

The state BJP had time and again rubisshed aside the charges. Raje also met national president Amit Shah on Sunday and clarified her position about the matter.
