Dennis Quaid cheated on me: Meg Ryan

The Hollywood actor says that she and Quaid were involved in a marriage that needed to end much earlier than it actually did.

Actress Meg Ryan says she hates talking about her personal life because it feels "cheap", but adds that the truth about her divorce from Dennis Quaid needs to come out.

According to Contactmusic, the couple divorced in 2001 after 10 years of being together and Ryan has only now started talking about her personal life. She is still unsure about revealing details of her personal life and says: "It feels cheap, but the other part of me feels you do, as a female, have to express yourself."

She says that for years she and Quaid were involved in a marriage "that needed to end much, much, much earlier than it actually did".

Ryan also reveals that Quaid cheated on her. She says: "My story is not unique to me. It is an incredible cliché! It is almost embarrassing the cliché. I feel like the truth will come out. It can't help but come out."
