Scared of Mojtaba? Israel drops nuclear-level allegation on Iran, Ahmadinejad immediately reappears

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has resurfaced at a high-level Expediency Council meeting in Tehran, days after controversial reports linked him to Israel's Mossad. According to Dolat-e Bahar, Ahmadinejad attended the council's Economic Commission session on July 11, where he reportedly shared his policy views and governing experience. His public appearance came shortly after Haaretz published claims alleging Mossad had recruited the former Iranian leader as part of a plot to undermine Iran's leadership. On July 14, Ahmadinejad's office strongly rejected the allegations, calling them completely false and denying any contact with Israeli intelligence.
