Dhoni's brother-in-law receives 'abusive' calls

Brother-in-law of the captain of the Indian cricket team M S Dhoni has lodged a complaint with the police saying he received "abusive" phone calls on Friday.

The superintendent of police, Sambhu Thakur, said Gautam Gupta lodged a written complaint at Doranda police station saying somebody called him twice and used "abusive language".

Gupta could not be contacted despite repeated attempts.

The police officer denied when asked whether the caller had asked for any ransom or issued threat to his life.

Two years back the police had arrested a local man after he sent two letters to the Dhoni family, demanding ransom.
