There are mixed reactions among the employees after the retirement of Justice Virk.

"Those who were feeling suffocated in the disciplined environment are quite happy. But most of the people are missing his good work. The garbage has again started piling up in the court compound," Kulbhushan Bhardwaj, president of bar association said.

Those who have been visiting the court complex too have found the scene changed. Col (retd) S Oberoi, resident of Uniworld Garden, Sohna Road said, "I was shocked to see the dirty corridors. Many employees of the court were seen without uniform which was strictly implemented during the time of justice Virk."

According to Bal Krishan Bhardwaj, general secretary, bar association, "He was indeed a very disciplined man and wanted his employees especially clerks and peons to follow them. Due to his this nature he managed to give a new court complex in terms of infra-structure."

"For clerks it was mandatory to wear red tie which many did not liked and female employees too were asked to be in

proper uniform," he further added.

RS virk joined as sessions judge nearly one-and-a-half years ago and according to sources during his stay about 35 employees applied had applied for voluntary retirement scheme and 60 people left the job. But many still feel that if strictness could bring some positive change then it should be welcomed.
