DSP killing: CBI appeals for witnesses to share info

The 10-member Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team in has appealed to the public of Kunda village, to come forward as witnesses in its probe into the killing of deputy SP Zia-ul-Haque, who was shot dead on March 2.
The 10-member Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team in has appealed to the public of Kunda village, to come forward as witnesses in its probe into the killing of deputy SP Zia-ul-Haque, who was shot dead on March 2.
In a press release, the CBI, assured the villagers against any kind of harassment. The CBI has set up a camp office and a helpline number in Pratapgarh.

The CBI is probing murder of village headman, his brother and Kunda's Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Zia-ul-Haque who were killed allegedly on the orders of Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya, the MLA from Kunda. Raja Bhaiya resigned from his cabinet post three days after the murders.
