EC appoints 12 observers for HP

The Election Commission has appointed 12 observers for parliamentary elections in Himachal Pradesh.

The Election Commission has appointed 12 observers for parliamentary elections in Himachal Pradesh of whom four would look into the poll expenses of the candidates.

Election department sources said these observers will oversee the election process in the four constituencies of the state -- Shimla (Reserved), Mandi, Kangra and Hamirpur.
