?Eco-friendly colours must be used for dyeing?

A DESIGN exhibition and vegetable dyeing and printing workshop was organised by Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms with the support of Weavers Service Society Indore at MKHS Gujarati Girls College yesterday.

Training was imparted to the students of Women’s Professional Training Centre in the workshop. Weavers Service Centre Assistant Director R S Parmar provided the details of training programme. College principal Dr Ramesh Mangal said that girls and ladies must take benefit from the training schemes run by government for self-employment.

MLA Ashwin Joshi emphasised that all the schemes of government must reach the weaker sections of the society. Training Centre chairman Hemant Patel stated that eco-friendly colours must be used for all dyeing purposes.

Anil Shukla and Mala Tiwari also addressed the workshop. College chairman Mukesh Patel, Vijay Parmar, Bhagwanji Dhamecha, Pradhumn Mishra, Satyanarayan Sharma and Rajendra Bandi participated in the programme.

Training Centre head Prof Suvarna Kapoor conducted the programme, while Danderwal proposed the vote of thanks.
