THE STATE Election Commission has taken strong exception to the transfer and posting of 13 IPS officers, including district police chiefs of Etawah, Mainpuri, Allahabad and Kanpur Dehat districts.
State election commissioner Aparmita Prasad Singh on Thursday said the state government had not taken the permission of the State Election Commission before releasing the transfer order.
