Employees? body wants suspension be revoked

A WEEK after his suspension, two major employees associations –M P Class III Government Employees’ Association and MP Gazetted Officer’s Association – organised a gate meeting and demanded the suspension of Horticulture Director B B Pandey be revoked.

Presidents of both associations, Mahendra Sharma and Dr R D Mishra said employees and officers were agitated over the alleged depressive policy of the State Government.Sharma directed the president of the departmental committee of his association give one-week notice to the department about the future course of action.

If the Government did not reconsider its decision on Pandey’s suspension, employees would proceed on strike, he threatened.
