Former Union Minister and PMK candidate Chengalpattu Lok Sabha constituency in Tamil Nadu AK Moorthy on Monday alleged some AIADMK men stoned his car near a booth in Tiruporur in the district.
In a complaint lodged with the police, Moorthy had stated that while he was on a tour of the booths in the area this morning, he noticed a group of 50 AIADMK men near a booth at Vada Nemmali "waiting to cast bogus votes".
He said he warned them against any irregularity.
But, as his vehicle started to leave the place, they started pelting stones, he alleged and added that the windscreen of his car suffered a crack. None was injured.
