K K Kochunni, a former official of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), fainted and died at the railway station in Thrissur on Friday, family sources said.
"He was 66 and survived by wife Girija, principal of the CRPF school in New Delhi, and two sons," the sources said.
The deceased was a member of the Royal family of Kodungallur near Thrissur. He was returning to Kodungalloor by train from Thiruvananthapuram with his wife.
