Farewell function organised at Campion School

A GRAND farewell function was organised by class XI students for the outgoing class XII students with great enthusiasm at Campion School on Saturday. In his inaugural speech school, Principal Dr Panka Toppo S.J advised the outgoing batch to be true Campionites and uphold their principles. He extended his best wishes to the outgoing batch.

A GRAND farewell function was organised by class XI students for the outgoing class XII students with great enthusiasm at Campion School on Saturday. In his inaugural speech school, Principal Dr Panka Toppo S.J advised the outgoing batch to be true Campionites and uphold their principles. He extended his best wishes to the outgoing batch.

Second Vice-Principal A K Ojha also addressed the students. He asserted, “The need of the hour was responsible citizens, because our country cannot progress without energetic thoughts.” He said “The students have both options. Either they make their future with hard work or select the way, which will take them among common people.”

Outstanding students received trophies, sponsored by HT PACE, The Hindustan Times, Newspaper in Education Programme. Ankur Edkie was selected as Mr Campion while Mr Courteous trophy went to Ankit Jain and Gaurav Namade.

Naman Jhawar and Anshum Rastogi got Mr Ever-ready To Help trophy. Mr Regular, Iwan Pereira. Mr Well Dressed trophy went to Ankit Saxena and Ankit Lal got Mr Lively trophy. Mr Artist and Mr Eve trophies went to Sajneesh Oberoi and Akash Mukherjee. Over 400 people were present. Junior students presented songs on this occasion. Competitions for students were also held.

The highlight of the programme was the selection process for the Mr Popular Trophy, which included questions from the Hindustan Times as the selection criteria for the coveted trophy.

Also present on this occasion were Vice-Principal Fr Zacharias Kerketta, headmistress Sr Nirmala and the teachers.
