"Despite continuous raids at different places, we have not been able to arrest the remaining three accused," admitted SHO, central police station, Amit Kumar, adding that "Our teams are on the job and we are hopeful of nabbing them soon."

Meanwhile, police said that the two men, who have been arrested in the case, deal in properties. The possibility that the remaining three accused may have fled to Uttar Pradesh or Rajasthan has not been ruled out.

A 24-year-old woman, a resident of Nehru Nagar in east Delhi, was abducted from Faridabad and raped by five men in a moving car throughout the night on Saturday. The men had then dropped her off in Ghaziabad in the early hours of Sunday.

The victim reported the matter to Faridabad police on Sunday, based on which a case of gangrape was registered against five men. Two of them were arrested the same day.

Police said the victim had been driven around on the Delhi-Jaipur highway that night. The rapists had even taken to Haridwar in Uttarakhand.

The arrested, identified as Kul Bhushan of Faridabad's New Industrial Township, and Sandeep Kumar of Ballabgarh, were produced before the court on Monday which remanded them to judicial custody.
