Jagan has written a letter to the Prime Minister seeking appointment in the next few days, sources said.
The former MP undertook a fast for 48 hours in Vijayawada this week demanding hike in compensation for the rain-hit farmers.
Jagan also sought the appointments of Union Textile Minister Dayanidhi Maran to highlight the plight of handloom weavers in the state and also Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, the sources added.
