A few hours later his son and J&K CM Omar Abdullah said PM Manmohan Singh had assured Farooq that he would be inducted into the Cabinet in the first expansion — likely to take place on Tuesday.

“We are not upset about the ministerial berth... There is no question of feeling betrayed,” Omar told HT over the phone.
