Fashion designer commits suicide in Noida

A 25-year-old fashion designer working with a garments export firm in Noida committed suicide at his office premises on Thursday, allegedly over a failed relationship, police said.

Jishan, originally a resident of Bihar, was working as a fashion designer in a garments export house in Sector-10 of Noida.

On Thursday around 9.30 a.m. he locked himself up in one of his company's rooms and hung himself from the ceiling fan, police said.

In the suicide note that was discovered, Jishan said he was having an affair with a girl, but his parents were getting him married somewhere else, so he was depressed and was taking his life, police said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. A case is yet to be registered, police said.
