Fashion hopefuls were judged on the basis of being themselves at the F Bar and Lounge during the Elite Patrol Night.
No ramp walk, photo session or interview: Fashion hopefuls were judged on the basis of being themselves at the F Bar and Lounge during the Elite Patrol Night.
The ambience was casual and that naturally wiped out traces of nervousness in the aspirants. The three judges were fashion designer Aparna Chandra, stylists Yatan and Jojo along with Elite Director and CEO Sushma Puri. The two scouts for the evening were Vijay Arora and Rohit Bal.

The do came to life with Bal’s entry. “I see a lot of good-looking boys and girls here this evening, I’m sure with a bit of grooming and training we’ll have a fresh team of models here.” Said Gudda who clearly relishing being the centre of attraction. “This is an excellent way of getting fresh faces and checking out their potential first-hand. Everyone is relaxed and we judge the people by sheer attitude and physical attributes,” said Arora as he mingled with the crowd trying to spot potential Elite models.
Puri too was busy giving valuable tips to amateurs and said she looked at the prospects with an open mind. “We don’t have a pre-conceived image that we are looking for,” she said.
The night was open for young model aspirants . "I've just finished schooling and modelling seems to be a good option while I'm in college. I hope to get selected," announced Salil Mehta, who has completed his schooling from G.D.
Goenka School. Elite Model Neha Kapoor felt that the models in Elite were a class apart. “Elite has the hottest models around and what makes them the best is the grooming. There’s much more than just facing the camera or walking the ramp. We are given much more than what an average agency can offer.” Like we said, it is an elite club.
