According to director of Institute of Professional Studies Prof GK Rai "The students of the Institute have been working hard for the show. Dresses and accessories for the show are all planned, designed and executed by the students themselves".
This show will help in confidence building of the students of the institute and also will bring out their hidden talents, added Prof Rai.
Each and every member of the institute is making efforts to give their best in the show. Right from accessories to production of garments, modelling choreography to projection and decoration are being carried out by the students and assisted by the teachers of the faculty including Shristi Purwar, Lali Priya, Meetali, Archana and choreographer Ashish Srivastava, he informed.
Both the traditional and the western outfits will be displayed in the show.
Keeping in mind these outfits, accessories are designed. However, material collection is not only from the city but from other cities including Delhi and Mumbai, said Shristi.
With the objective of projecting the dresses with a difference, the students of the institute are also modelling for the show.
Besides, the journey of Bollywood fashion trend from the era of 50s till 2005 will be projected through a documentary film on the occasion.
It will help in projecting how cinema influences fashion and dressing sense of an ordinary man.
Not only this, great efforts are being made on the decoration aspect. Plans are being made to use schemes of colours which are vibrant, based on Bollywood themes and relate to the subject that is fashion, said Lali.
