FCI labour union to support SAD-BJP
The Congress in Faridkot has suffered a jolt with workers union of FCI and Allied Workers Union announcing their support to SAD-BJP alliance candidate Sukhbir Singh Badal.
The Congress in Faridkot Lok Sabha constituency has suffered a jolt with Workers Union of Food Corporation of India (FCI) and Allied Workers Union announcing their support to SAD-BJP alliance candidate Sukhbir Singh Badal.
The announcement was made by the Union leaders in the presence of Sukhbir Badal here yesterday.
Both the Unions claim considerable vote bank in the Assembly segments of Moga, Kotkapura and Muktsar.
At a meeting at Kotkapura, the labour unions criticised the alleged anti-labour policies of the state government. "Due to it they decided to support Badal", Union leaders said.
Sukhbir Badal while welcoming the decision of FCI Workers Union and Food and Allied Workers Union assured the leaders that his party would give them due respect.
