Planning a restaurant around the theme of Bollywood and a menu powered by olive oil (a trend started by Masala Art, but abandoned in deference to the local palate) is a creative enterprise, to say the least. There’s a danger inherent in raising expectations with cute names and slick marketing, because the force of gravity is bound to bring down anything that goes up. It’s early days yet for the restaurant, but it has managed to measure up to people’s expectations.

Go for The Big B (that’s what they call their butter chicken) or Jal Bin Machhli (masala pomfret) or Ae Mere Tamatar Chaman (paneer cooked in the Kashmiri style). Check out the Ek Baar Phirni and wash your meal with Mission Kashmir (kahwa, the Kashmiri spiced tea). It’s a fun dining option for both movie buffs and lovers of good food.
