Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is the first bank in the country that has brought down the Non-Performing Assets (NPA) level of the bank to zero this year. Ashok Kumar Dhamija is the senior manager of North Central Zone Culture Centre branch at Ashok Nagar who deals with over 6000 customers especially the elite one of the posh colonies of the city. In a tête-à-tête with Pankaj Mishra he shared the bank activities and the several facilities being provided by the bank to the customers since he took over the charge in June 2005.

What are the latest facilities provided by your branch ?
The branch is now covered under the Centralised Banking Solutions (CBS). Now the customers may operate their account any where in India as well in other OBC branches. The customers of the branch can also get their ATM cards issued and may use it with ATMs of the OBC and other 'Mitra Banks' like Corporation Bank, BOB, Allahabad Bank , PNB and ICICI etc.
Any other special plan?
The much awaited demand of the customers for having an ATM facility at NCZCC will be fulfilled within two months. Our ATMs are interconnected with 14 nationalised and other banks.
