Police has registered a complaint against the brother of Congress candidate from Junagadh for allegedly beating up BJP activists.

Police has registered a complaint against the brother of Congress candidate from Junagadh constituency and others for allegedly beating up BJP activists in Talala taluka area in the wee hours today, police said.

FIR has been registered against Congress candidate Jasubhai Barad's brother and few others at the Talala police station on a complaint filed by BJP workers, District Superintendent of Police R J Savani told PTI.

The BJP activists alleged that Barad's brother also snatched a gold chain.

The complaint said that BJP workers were returning from polling booths around 0230 hrs after making arrangement when Congress workers attacked them with lathis and iron pipe.
