Fire breaks out at cycle factory in West Delhi

A major fire broke out at a cycle factory in west Delhi in the wee hours of Wednesday, but there were no casualties.

The blaze was spotted at the factory in Anand Parbat at around 4:25 am and was brought under control after nearly three hours, fire brigade sources said in the capital.

Fifteen fire tenders were rushed to the spot for the operation, they said, adding the cause of the fire was not yet known.

In another incident, a minor fire was reported from the office of a private courier company situated near terminal one of the IGI airport in New Delhi. The fire was brought under control by two fire tenders within minutes, they added.
