Firemen continued to battle the fire by spraying water and foam. In the evening, a few fire personnel managed to enter the cold storage premises from the craters made on the top floors.

Said Navi Mumbai Muncipal Corporation, Deputy Commissioner J Sinnarkar, "The men were inside for sometime, but they did not hear any voices of the two missing company employees Ram Bhanushali and Ramesh Savla."

Some debris from within the company premises were also removed. Fire officials hoped they will be able to control the fire fully in a couple of days.
