Police today said the tribals were guarding their crops atop hills at Boalkhali, near the Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh, on Sunday night when a group of eight armed insurgents raided the place and kidnapped them at gun point.

The incident was reported to the police on Tuesday, Director-General of Police, Pranay Sahaya, said.
