None other than Jayant Mallayya, one of the ministers who had shoved the MLA away while trying to approach the Chief Minister?s chair !

Rawat accompanied the Minister in the latter’s car to the optician’s shop. Mallayya was to pick up his own spectacles there. Talking to Hindustan Times Mallaya recalled how during the Sundar Lal Patwa regime , Congress MLA Kalyani Poandey had created massive flutter in the House by presenting bangles and vermilion to the CM. Malaiya was a junior minister then.
