For latent talent
over 55 artists are participating in Great Train Gallery's latest exhibition.
In its fourth year, the Great Train Gallery at Friends Colony West is set to showcase its latest exhibition of paintings by young artists in association with the United Nations Woman’s Association (UNWA) on April 15.

With over 55 artists ranging from the ages 19 to 80, the curators Abha Kapoor and Shail Singh have come a long way from their first exhibition in Ludhiana. “The art world has changed for the better. People are recognising Indian artists across the globe. Any new artist with creativity has a chance to be promoted by art galleries,” says Abha. “Art collectors too want to catch them young,” adds Shail.
Both Abha and Shail point to young art collectors who want to invest in art and look for promising works by young artists.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr Daniel Gustafson, FAO representative in India and Bhutan. A percentage of the proceeds will go to UNWA to support underprivileged pre-school children. “We believe in promoting upcoming artists,” says Shail. Here’s a venue that must be visited if you are interested in art.
