Warrin W Globar, a teacher from Kangaroo Ground, Australia, boarded the 1772 UP Kamayani Express for Nasik Road after he came from Bangalore, police said.
While travelling yesterday, an unidentified man stole his money and his laptop, before escaping from the train.
Globar lodged a complaint with Manmad railway police who have registered an offence under section 379 of IPC.
